DOCTRINE OF DIVINE DISCIPLINE
  1. Divine discipline is punitive action from God for the believer, Heb.12:5.
  2. Divine discipline is based on God's love for the believer plus His propitiatory attitude in the righteousness (+R) bypass, Rev.3:19; Heb.12:6.
  3. Divine discipline, no matter how severe, does not mean loss of salvation, Gal.3:26; 2Tim.2:12,13.
  4. Divine discipline is related to the grace principle of turning cursing into blessing, Ps.7:14-16; 1Cor.11:31.
  5. If any suffering remains after Rebound, it is for blessing, Job.5:17,18.
  6. All discipline is confined to time, Rev.21:4.
  7. Intense discipline, Mt.7:1,2 (the mental attitude sins of judging, gossip, and sins of the tongue create intense discipline).
  8. There are three categories of discipline.
    1. The warning stage, Rev.3:20.
    2. The intensive stage.
    3. The dying stage the sin unto death, Jam.5:9.
  9. National discipline eventuates in the fifth cycle, Lev.26.
